At the October meeting Grant Stevens, known best as the go-to man for computer repairs at Eden Computers, spoke on the life of Winston Churchill. This newsletter contains some gems about the life of Churchill, such as the fact that Churchill did a lot of bricklaying at his country estate, Chartwell. Churchill’s bricklaying roused the ire of professionals and was resolved by Churchill joining the Amalgamated Union of Trade Building Workers and becoming a certified bricklayer.
