Nina Kitson after her talk on being NZ’s first female undercover officer

The December newsletter has an account of Nina Kitson’s talk on being New Zealand’s first female undercover officer. It is a gripping tale of deception, intrigue and nerve-wracking incidents where she came perilously close to being uncovered as a police plant.

The newsletter has reports on the coffee morning at Zeki’s Cafe, and the roast meal and movie at Ryders with Henderson Falls Friendship Club. There is a reminder about the Christmas Lunch at McHughs of Cheltenham and an invitation to the Carols by Candlelight event at the Chapel of Faith in the Oaks.

Because of the editor mistakingly thinking the first Friday of the month was still a week away, this newsletter was not even started when it should have been just about finished. Use of AI to write the content of the newsletter was therefore resored to much more agressively than in previous newsletters. AI systems used were Whisper AI, ChatGPT, and Microsoft’s Copilot and Bing.
